Vector graphics are usually the image that is being created from lines and directions, they differ from the raster graphics in that the can be scale to any size smoothly without pixilating that, as the lines are redrawn whenever it is resized. Converting a raster, pixel based or 2D is very cool because of the implicit difference in the format. In the process original picture usually re-created in the Vector format. Although, many tools are there to rescue the professional, the one probably will need to execute some manual editing for the perfect final product.
